His Excellency Abdullah Turki Al-Turki, Consul General of the State of Kuwait in Guangzhou, held a reception on the occasion of the 63rd anniversary of the independence of the State of Kuwait.

The ceremony was attended by a large number of government officials in Guangdong Province and its cities, most notably Her Excellency Ms. Li Xin, Vice Chairperson of the Political Consultative Conference of Guangdong Province, and Mr. Chen Jie, Executive Vice Mayor of Guangzhou City, in addition to the presence of representatives of Arab, Islamic and foreign diplomatic missions in Guangzhou City, senior officials of the China Foreign Trade Center and the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, a group of citizens residing in Guangzhou City and members of the Consulate General and their families.
